My Essay

This is a link to my website essay, based on a rather ostentatious site that I'll link to here. As it is an academic essay, it mightn't be too interesting to read unless your a lecturer or fellow student. To view my essay, click here!

My Blog

"Bigotry in the City?" is my personal weblog, a depiction of the absurd stereotypes and marginalisation that plague many a South Auckland denizen. As I happen to call South Auckland home, I took it upon myself to highlight my hometown's view in the eyes of our fellow Aucklanders, and beyond.

In it, you'll learn about the media's role to play in the region's stigmatisation, read about a certain Member of Parliament's infamous snafu, and discover how other regional councils rip off an already vulnerable community.

You can also visit my links and unearth a wealth of information about the region's more international infamy, New Zealand's vaunted reputation as a safe place to live, and how that same reputation has since come under threat.

My Fanfiction

This is a link to my very own fanfiction story Star Wars: The Promised Land, an action-adventure set in everyone's favourite fictional universe.

The story is set on the world of Taris, just days after Revan's meeting with a group of destitute undergroud pariahs known by the Upworld citizenry as "Outcasts".

You'll discover a tale written in a "What if?" style, wherein I try to ascertain how the Oucasts' lives would've been affected by Revan's arrival in the Undercity during the events of the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic videogame plotline.

Accompanying the story are a number of links relevant to Star Wars lore and history, including maps and galactic timelines, as well as a number of interesting diversions that help to flesh-out the Star Wars experience.

As a bonus, fellow students have placed their own fanfics to this blogsite, many of which are highly entertaining (though clearly inferior to my own) based on a wide variety of differing sources.

Like The Wizard of Oz but wish it could have more cranium fractures and spinal breaks? It's in here! We even have a fanfic on that Spanish footballer (I forget the name, but apparently he's just been signed as Calvin Klein's latest underwear model); how cool is that?!
